After one week in Albania in spring we really wanted to see more of this wonderful country.
We had tree weeks in september. We took the fastferry to Igoumentisa Greece. The border was just 20 minutes away and we crossed it without any problems. We then drove from the south of albania to the north. The landscape was fantastic; Mountains, beautiful green valleys, deepblue sea and desert-like regions.
We really enjoyed!

It wasn’t easy to find a destination for our holidays in spring.
We went through italy and slovenia to croatia.
We had e great week with a lot of adventures: We slept in a western village (Winnetou-Filmset), explored an old flightbase in the mountain, climbed on a old airplane, woke up into a winter-wonder-land with 20 centimeters of snow and we enjoyed the Sun on a beautiful ridge.
In the second week we passed trough Montenegro to Albania:
We took the mountainroad with 4 mountain passes, but we weren’t able to cross the last because of snow, we discovered an old prison, we talked to a few workers in a mine, found a small peninsula with a lot of small roads and helped a farmer to get his tractor out of the mud.

Holidays in times of covid are difficult. We changed our destination six times. (Morocco, Tunisa, Albania, Greece, Croatia, Corse…)
After all we decided to visit sweden again.
We spent three weeks in this wonderful and beautiful country.
We caught the fall in its most colorful time.
Sweden isn’t the country for heavy 4wding, there are endless roads in the forest you can drive. But you are not allowed to leave any track. The nature is breathtaking, endless forests, wonderful lakes and rivers aaand if your lucky enough some animals 😉

In July we have been in the Westalps for three days, we had an awsome trip happely without snow 😉
This autmn we have been in Sweden.
We had 2.5 weeks and a busy schedule:
We visited the “Buschtaxi-Meeting” (Troopy Meeting) in Wetzlar – Germany, spent a week in Sweden, droven on the car beaches in Denmark, visited the Miniatur-Wunderland & met some friends in Germany. After that we drove through Switzerland for doing some offroad in the western alps for the last time this year.
In 18 days we did 5700km, drove trough 6 countries, took 2 ferrys and one car train.

For our first trip with our Troopy we decided to go to Croatia. We had time for 2 weeks and started on the easter-monday. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t that good. After 4 days, we decided to change the country. The weather forecast for corsica was much better, the forecast for Croatia was rainy for the whole vacation.
Although the rain we could drive some nice offroad tracks and enjoy some sun in Croatia.
At the weekend we left croatia in direction to Italy & took the ferry to corsica. There we had a great time with a lot of sun and good friends. Way too quick the time was over =(

It’s getting a little warmer and the days last longer, we spend almost every free minute to our Land Cruiser.
Our goal: The coming Easter Monday we want to take our troopy to it’s first trip.
